EXPERIENCED CAREGIVER – PARKINSON’S CARE & MOBILITY ASSISTANCE

HELP A CLIENT STAY ACTIVE, SAFE, AND INDEPENDENT!
Always Best Care Senior Services is looking for a caring, reliable, and physically capable caregiver to provide personalized in-home support to a client living with Parkinson’s disease.
We are seeking someone who understands the importance of maintaining mobility, encouraging daily activity, and helping clients preserve their independence for as long as possible.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, patient, and encouraging, with the ability to provide hands-on assistance while motivating the client to participate in appropriate daily activities. A positive attitude, attentiveness, and a genuine passion for helping others will make a difference in this role.

YOUR WEEKLY SCHEDULE
* Tuesday: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM * Wednesday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM * Total Hours: 8 hours per week * Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Consistent attendance on both days is essential to provide continuity of care and help establish a comfortable, dependable routine for the client.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You will provide individualized care and encouragement to help the client navigate daily activities safely while maintaining as much independence as possible.
MOBILITY AND ACTIVITY ASSISTANCE
* Encourage safe movement and participation in appropriate daily activities. * Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility according to the client's care plan. * Provide hands-on support as needed while following safe transfer and handling techniques. * Help the client maintain balance and reduce the risk of falls. * Assist with prescribed exercises or mobility routines as directed by healthcare professionals. * Adjust your approach based on the client's comfort, energy, and mobility needs. * Offer positive encouragement while respecting the client's abilities and limitations.
PERSONAL CARE AND DAILY SUPPORT
* Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. * Provide personal hygiene and grooming assistance when required. * Support daily routines while promoting independence whenever possible. * Help with simple meal preparation and mealtime assistance. * Provide reminders and guidance to help the client complete everyday tasks.
COMPANIONSHIP AND SAFETY
* Build a positive relationship through conversation and meaningful interaction. * Maintain a safe and comfortable environment during each shift. * Monitor changes in mobility, behavior, or overall well-being and report concerns appropriately. * Follow the established care plan and safety procedures. * Maintain a patient, respectful, and encouraging approach throughout the assignment.

We want a dependable caregiver who enjoys helping others remain active and can confidently support a client with mobility challenges.
Preferred qualifications include:
* Previous experience in senior care, home care, or personal assistance. * Experience supporting individuals with Parkinson’s disease or similar neurological conditions. * Physical ability to assist safely with mobility and transfers in accordance with the care plan. * A willingness to encourage appropriate movement and daily engagement. * Patience and awareness of balance difficulties, coordination changes, and mobility limitations. * Strong communication skills and attention to detail. * Reliable transportation and availability for both Tuesday and Wednesday shifts. * A consistent, punctual, and compassionate work ethic.
