SENIOR CAREGIVER – EVENING & WEEKEND OPPORTUNITIES | $17/HOUR
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour Schedule: Tuesday–Sunday Weekday Shifts: Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 PM–10:00 PM Weekend Shifts: Saturday & Sunday, 9:30 AM–1:30 PM and 5:00 PM–9:00 PM Position: Ongoing Caregiving Assignment
HELP TWO SENIORS ENJOY COMFORT AND SUPPORT AT HOME!
Always Best Care Senior Services is looking for a responsible, compassionate caregiver to assist an older couple who need additional support due to cognitive challenges.
This role is a great fit for someone who values consistency, enjoys working with seniors, and takes pride in making everyday life easier for others. Both clients benefit from assistance with personal care, meals, daily routines, medication reminders, and regular companionship.
We are seeking a caregiver who can provide thoughtful assistance to both individuals, follow established routines, and create a reassuring environment where they feel respected and cared for.
WEEKLY WORK SCHEDULE
* Tuesday–Friday: 6:00 PM–9:00 PM * Saturday: 9:30 AM–1:30 PM and 5:00 PM–9:00 PM * Sunday: 9:30 AM–1:30 PM and 5:00 PM–9:00 PM * Hourly Compensation: $17.00
Applicants should be able to maintain the full schedule, including weekday evenings and both weekend shifts, to ensure dependable coverage for the couple.
DAILY CAREGIVING DUTIES
As the caregiver, you will help the couple with everyday tasks while promoting their well-being, independence, and comfort.
DAYTIME ASSISTANCE
* Help with personal hygiene, grooming, and other daily care needs. * Provide support as clients prepare for their day. * Assist with meal preparation and serving breakfast or other meals. * Give medication reminders in accordance with established care instructions.
EVENING AND BEDTIME ASSISTANCE
* Help organize and serve evening meals. * Assist with personal care and daily living tasks. * Provide medication reminders as directed. * Support evening hygiene and bedtime preparations. * Make sure both clients are comfortable and safely settled before the end of the shift.
GENERAL HOUSEHOLD AND CLIENT SUPPORT
* Spend quality time with clients through conversation and companionship. * Provide supervision and assistance appropriate to their individual needs. * Complete light housekeeping associated with caregiving. * Offer gentle reminders and reassurance when clients become confused. * Keep commonly used areas tidy and free of potential safety hazards. * Report concerns or noticeable changes in the clients' health or behavior. * Follow care instructions and communicate important updates to the appropriate team members.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The right candidate will be attentive, compassionate, and capable of supporting two seniors with different daily needs.
We are looking for someone who has:
* Experience in caregiving, senior assistance, or personal care preferred. * Familiarity with dementia or other forms of cognitive impairment is a plus. * The ability to assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities. * A patient demeanor when clients need extra time, reminders, or reassurance. * Good communication skills and the ability to follow care instructions. * Dependable transportation and a consistent attendance record. * Availability for all listed weekday and weekend shifts. * A respectful attitude and commitment to maintaining each client's dignity.
