North Florida Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We strive to create a team-like environment dedicated to exceptional patient care.

How you’ll contribute 

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who excels in this role:

 

* Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance. * Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment. * Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom. * Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner. * Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness. * Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting. * Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings. * Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately. * Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for 

Applicants should have a current state certification as a Nursing Assistant. Additional requirements include:

* CPR/BCLS certification (may be obtained upon hire) * Six months of experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred

Schedule: 3x12, Nights (6:45pm-7:00am), rotating weekends
