**Position Overview: Clinical/Staff Pharmacist**

We are inviting applications for a Clinical/Staff Pharmacist to lead and supervise the operations of our pharmacy department.

This role encompasses the maintenance of professional relationships with healthcare providers and patients, collaboration with pharmacy personnel, performance management of staff, and strict adherence to all pertinent medical laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical acumen and a comprehensive understanding of pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, clinical review, and patient consultation management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Precisely dispense prescription medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols. - Analyze and interpret physician orders to assess appropriateness and safety of prescribed therapies.

- Implement medication therapy management protocols and systematically monitor patient outcomes for efficacy and safety. - Provide in-depth consultations to patients addressing their inquiries regarding pharmacotherapy.

- Ensure adherence to both state and federal pharmacy regulations to maintain compliance within the operation.

- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including sourcing and reordering of supplies as necessary.

- Maintain comprehensive patient records and meticulously document all pharmaceutical interactions.

- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient-centered care.

- Deliver drug information and educational support to healthcare staff regarding medication management.

- Oversee and mentor pharmacy technicians and interns to foster professional development.

**Qualifications & Skills:**

- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required.

- Successful completion of a pharmacy residency program.

- Board certification in a recognized pharmacy specialty is preferred.

- Demonstrated experience in a clinical or hospital pharmacy environment.

- Exceptional patient counseling and communication abilities.

- Competence in utilizing pharmacy software tools and technology.

- Proven ability to function collaboratively within a team-oriented framework.

- Thorough knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.

- Active and unrestricted pharmacist licensure in the relevant state of practice.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of pharmacy practice.

- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.

- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Proficient understanding of pharmacology, therapeutics, and pharmaceutical calculations.

- Dedication to ongoing professional development and continuous education.

**Additional Information:**

- **Job Title:** Clinical/Staff Pharmacist

- **Work Environment:** Typically located within a medical setting, such as a hospital or healthcare facility, with responsibilities that may require prolonged periods of standing.

- **Reporting Structure:** This position reports directly to the Administrator/COO.
