Description Busy practices seeks an experienced Full-time Medical Assistant/Front Office in Gilroy. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence.
This position will consist of front and back-office duties including: Scheduling appointments Responding to patient calls Prior authorizations Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC) Scanning and faxing Taking vital signs and height/weight measurements Preparing/cleaning treatment rooms for patient examinations & procedures Assisting MD during procedures Practicing sterile technique
Mandatory qualifications: Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfort with interacting with the elderly and disabled Comfort with bodily fluids Strong computer skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Electronic Health Records experience (EPIC)

Pay Scale/Ranges: $21.00-$35.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).* *Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience.
