Physical Therapist Location: Lee’s Summit, MO Position Type: Full-Time Setting: Modern Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic EMR System: WebPT Position Overview We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lee’s Summit, MO. This role is ideal for a clinician who is looking to provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a structured outpatient setting with a collaborative clinical team. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, develop individualized plans of care, and guide patients through each stage of recovery. The clinic serves a broad patient population, ranging from age 11 to 90, offering variety in daily caseload and clinical experience. Compensation New Graduate Physical Therapist: $65,000–$70,000 per year Experienced Physical Therapist: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience Position Highlights Full-time Physical Therapist position Competitive salary based on experience New graduates are encouraged to apply Collaborative and supportive clinical team Modern outpatient orthopedic setting Opportunity for professional growth and development Primary caseload focused on orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Preferred Work Schedule Options The clinic offers flexibility and strongly prefers one of the following schedules: Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days Preferred Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Tuesday off each week Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Clinic Information Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants EMR System: WebPT Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions using evidence-based interventions Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, mobility training, gait training, and functional rehabilitation Educate patients on home exercise programs, activity modification, and recovery expectations Monitor patient progress and update plans of care as appropriate Complete accurate and timely documentation in WebPT Collaborate with PTAs, clinical staff, providers, and referral sources to support continuity of care Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Missouri licensure New graduates are welcome to apply Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based outpatient setting Insurance Plans Accepted The clinic serves patients covered by: Blue Cross Blue Shield UnitedHealthcare Medicare TRICARE Humana Aetna Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance 401K plan with Company Match 3 weeks PTO 8 Paid US Holidays CEU Allowance Sign-On Bonus Available Advance your Physical Therapy career in a modern outpatient orthopedic setting with strong clinical support and opportunities for continued growth.
