We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel contract opportunity in beautiful Central Washington! Join a supportive team at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with a Family Birthing Place featuring LDRP/Postpartum care and a Level 1 Nursery.
This is a great opportunity for nurses looking to gain meaningful rural healthcare experience while enjoying the outdoor lifestyle and small-town charm of Ellensburg, located just 2 hours from Seattle.
Position Details: 13-week travel assignment Night shift: 7:00 pm-7:30 am 36 hours per week Weekly pay range: $2,583–$2,727 Potential extension opportunities May include weekends and holidays Per diem opportunities also available
Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing care for Labor & Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum patients Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing throughout labor and delivery Support patients and families through all stages of childbirth Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient care Respond effectively in emergency situations Requirements: Active RN license (WA license or compact eligible) Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications Previous L&D experience required CAH/Rural hospital experience Comfortable working independently in a rural hospital environment Why Travelers Love This Assignment: Supportive rural healthcare team Lower patient volumes with meaningful patient connections Scenic Central Washington location with easy access to hiking, lakes, skiing, and outdoor recreation Great opportunity to expand critical access and rural healthcare experience
