About this role
We are seeking an experienced and dependable caregiver to take on a dual role as a Caregiver Floater/Trainer. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about caregiving, enjoys mentoring others, and is flexible to step in and provide coverage when needed. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality care while supporting both our clients and caregiving team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
TRAINING & SUPPORT
* Train and mentor new caregivers in the field * Demonstrate proper caregiving techniques, including personal care, transfers, and safety protocols * Reinforce company policies, documentation standards, and best practices * Provide feedback to the office on caregiver performance and progress

FLOATER / SHIFT COVERAGE
* Fill in for open shifts due to call-offs, vacations, or new client start-ups * Provide consistent, high-quality care across multiple clients * Adapt quickly to different care plans, environments, and client needs

CAREGIVER RECRUITMENT SUPPORT
* Assist in identifying and referring potential caregiver candidates * Leverage personal networks and community connections to help bring in qualified caregivers * Represent the company positively when interacting with potential candidates in the field * Support occasional recruiting efforts such as job fairs or community outreach

CLIENT CARE
* Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting * Provide companionship and emotional support * Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders * Ensure client safety and report any changes in condition

QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum 3-5 years of caregiving experience (CNA preferred but not required) * Strong knowledge of senior care, including dementia and mobility assistance * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area * Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
