Overview
Location: North Slope, Alaska (Oooguruk Tie-In Pad) Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 0600–1800 Rotation: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable EMT III to serve in a hybrid role at the Oooguruk Tie-In Pad (OTP). This position combines administrative, medical, and emergency response responsibilities to ensure the health, safety, and operational readiness of all onsite personnel. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Hilcorp operations by providing emergency medical care, occupational health services, and camp coordination. Primary Responsibilities Staff and manage the front desk for daily operations and communication. Oversee and coordinate camp billeting, ensuring accurate room assignments and occupancy tracking. Lead the Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT), maintaining readiness and coordination for any onsite emergencies. Provide EMT III-level emergency medical care to employees and contractors as needed. Conduct Drug and Alcohol testing in compliance with company policy and regulatory standards as needed. Perform Occupational Health testing (audiometry, spirometry, fit testing, etc.) as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation and assist in communication with the North Slope Operations Center (NOC) Medical Clinic. Normal Operations Approximately 20 personnel on site per hitch. Work hours: 0600–1800 (12-hour shifts). Travel Logistics Transportation: Year-round Hilcorp bus service between OTP and Deadhorse. Travel Time: Approximately 25 minutes from the North Slope Operations Center (NOC) Medical Clinic. Qualifications Current Alaska EMT III or higher certification (required). Current BLS certification (required). ACLS and PHTLS certifications preferred. Experience in occupational health, industrial EMS, or remote medical settings preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
