Qualifications
* Associates degree in nursing required, a bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. * Minimum of five years of nursing experience is required. At least one year of PAT experience is preferred. * Current RN licensure in the state of Arizona. * Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Essential Functions
* Assess, plan, evaluate, and ensure the implementation of patient care to achieve identified outcomes and metrics. * Deliver safe patient care according to hospital policy and procedures. * Assesses patient status by phone or in person and documents appropriately. * Works with anesthesia to coordinate care prior to patient admission. * Acts as a guide for patients in obtaining necessary testing in preparation for their procedure. * Implements appropriate standards of care based on assessment data. * Assumes an active role in the provision of quality nursing care. * Performs and documents clearances as needed. * Sends cases to anesthesia for review, as appropriate. * Maintains confidentiality of all facility and patient information as required by facility policy.
