About this role
Schedule: Monday to Friday 10-7pm, every other Saturday 7-2pm.
Key Responsibilities
1. Greet, room, and escort orthopedic patients before and after imaging exams 2. Prepare patients for imaging procedures (gowning, positioning assistance, removing braces/splints as directed) 3. Assist MRI technologists with patient positioning, transfers, and mobility support 4. Clean and reset imaging rooms between patients following infection control standards 5. Stock imaging rooms with linens, positioning aids, lead shields, and orthopedic supplies 6. Assist with basic cast room support (transport, setup, cleanup) when applicable 7. Verify patient information, orders, and documentation in EMR/RIS 8. Coordinate imaging flow with clinical staff, providers, and front desk 9. Answer phones and assist with scheduling or patient questions as assigned 10. Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow OSHA, radiation safety, and clinic policies
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or GED required 2. Prior experience in an orthopedic, radiology, or outpatient clinical setting preferred 3. Knowledge of orthopedic terminology and anatomy a plus 4. CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain 5. Ability to safely assist patients with limited mobility

Physical & Work Requirements
1. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs with assistance) 2. Direct patient contact in a clinical environment 3. Use of PPE and adherence to radiation safety guidelines
