How you’ll contribute 

A Radiology Technician who excels in this role:

* Reviews patient history and physician’s orders. Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. * Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered. Monitors patient condition and responds to changes as appropriate. * Prepares equipment and supplies, selects exposure factors and imaging parameters, and ensures compliance with safety standards. * Performs quality control checks on equipment; troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports malfunctions as necessary. * Positions patients and performs imaging procedures. Analyzes results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures. * Enters, transmits, and reports scan results accurately. * Provides direct support in meeting departmental service levels. * Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. * Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed. * Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

What we’re looking for 

* Education: Graduate of a Radiology program required. * License: /Certifications: Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology; BCLS required.

Hourly range: $32.18 - $48.77
