Travel RN – PCU Opportunity Position: PCU Travel RN Start Date: ASAP Shift: Nights (6:45am– 7:15pm) Duration: 13 weeks Unit Details: Must be okay with floating to tele/tele MS/MS. Fast paced units that need clinicians who can work independently. Ratios: 3-4:1 IMCU and 5-6:1 Tele-M/S with PCT assistance. Administer medications and manage IV therapies as prescribed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families about health management and recovery processes. Document patient care activities and interventions accurately in electronic health records. Manage equipment and supplies necessary for patient care in the PCU. Respond to patient emergencies and provide immediate intervention as needed. Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of practice. Proven experience in a critical care or PCU setting preferred. Strong understanding of patient care standards and safety protocols. Cerner charting Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
