OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT) – HOME HEALTH | FULL-TIME
Preferred Care Home Health is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Therapy team and provide quality, patient-centered care in the home setting.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Evaluate patients’ functional abilities, including activities of daily living and work-related skills.
* Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
* Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care.
* Help patients improve strength, coordination, range of motion, and independence.
* Educate patients and families on therapy programs and adaptive equipment.
* Communicate with physicians and members of the clinical team.
* Complete timely and accurate documentation.
* Participate in case conferences and other required agency activities.
* Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs), as applicable.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
* Current, active Florida OT license.
* Minimum of 1 year of OT experience.
* Home health experience preferred but not required.
* Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage a community-based caseload.
