Our state-of-the-art mobile medical clinics bring full-service skin care including screenings, biopsies, and Mohs surgery, directly to local communities and businesses. THE ROLE
We are looking for a Medical Assistant who is passionate about making a difference. As part of our mobile care team, you’ll provide hands-on support to dermatology providers, assist during procedures, and help deliver an outstanding patient experience.
This is more than a typical MA role, it’s an opportunity to work in an innovative practice, travel with our mobile clinics, and be part of a mission-driven team fighting skin cancer and improving lives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for exams
* Scribe for providers and update electronic medical records (EMA/Modernizing Medicine)
* Assist during Mohs procedures, excisions, and minor surgeries
* Label, process, and prepare specimens for the lab
* Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care
* Support providers during additional testing and procedures
* Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for
* Occasionally take on duties outside of standard MA tasks to support team operations
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Certified/experienced Medical Assistant (Surgical or Dermatology background preferred)
* Knowledge of Mohs procedures a plus
* Experience with EMA/Modernizing Medicine strongly preferred (training available for the right candidate)
* Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
