What You’ll Do:
* Assist in pre- and post-operative care for gynecology patients * Prepare exam rooms and surgical instruments * Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, strong understanding of sterile techniques. Must possess excellent sterile technique. * Support minor in-office procedures and wound care; specimen collection * Coordinate patient education and follow-up appointments * Maintain accurate medical records and documentation; process referrals as needed * Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned including chart prep, scheduling, data entry, phone calls, and patient registration
What We’re Looking For:
* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)- **Only candidates who currently hold a valid Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain w/in 90 days will be considered*** * Experience in surgical or women’s health settings highly preferred * 1-2 years of MA experience in a fast-paced setting * Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills * Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable personality * EMR experience and computer proficiency a plus * Positive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset and a passion for oncology care
