* Concerned Dental Care of Farmingville * 1025 Portion Road, Suite F, Farmingville, NY 11738 * Monday-Friday | 9AM-6PM
Your Role as a Dental Hygienist
* Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care * Perform cleanings, scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments, and other hygiene services within your scope * Assess periodontal health, capture diagnostic x-rays, and maintain accurate clinical documentation * Educate patients on oral health, home care, periodontal needs, and preventive treatment * Identify periodontal and restorative concerns and collaborate with dentists on comprehensive care * Build trusted relationships that keep patients engaged in their long-term oral health * Maintain infection-control, OSHA, and clinical standards
What We’re Looking For
* Active New York Dental Hygienist license * Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program * Current CPR certification * 1+ year of dental hygiene experience preferred * Local anesthesia certification preferred * Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach * Collaborative, dependable, and committed to high-quality care
