Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is a freestanding, 122 bed facility specializing in general adult psych, adolescents, geriatric, and women's services. The hospital is located in southwest Houston serving the Houston and surrounding communities. Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is conveniently located between the Galleria and Meyer land shopping districts and is only minutes away from the Houston Medical Center, Downtown, and Midtown. Our continuum of care includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to stabilize symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health disorders. Full-Time Day Shift: Monday-Friday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (no weekends) Key Responsibilities include: Provide medical management and assessment of patients. Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the adolescent patient population. Document nursing care treatment and patient’s response to treatment. Liaise with the treatment team to ensure a consistently therapeutic milieu. Qualifications
Education:Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing Experience: Minimum one (1) year as a RN in psychiatric nursing preferred Licensure: Currently licensed licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas from the State Board of Nursing Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
