JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources within an assigned territory to promote home care services. Gather and organize account-related information and provide key input on key customer opportunities. Prioritize accounts in accordance with the market sales plan.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
1. Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections. 2. Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections. 3. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources. 4. Builds and monitors community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of the organization as a high-quality provider of services. 5. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of the organization’s markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor's market positioning. 6. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel. 7. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by the organization. 8. Maintains a current Driver’s License and carries updated personal auto insurance. 9. Must adhere to the company attendance and reliability guidelines, which are an essential function of the job to ensure quality, and consistent patient care.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Bachelor's degree preferred. * At least three years of experience in health care marketing management and/or home care operations preferred. At least one year experience in sales is preferred * Strong professional presence, a willingness to travel, and strong interpersonal, communication, public speaking and organizational skills. * Excellent understanding of performance improvement, quality assurance, and utilization management. * Ability to work well with others, function well under pressure, and work independently. * Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills. * Maintains current and valid California Driver’s License and Automobile Insurance coverage.
Physical Requirements
1. The ability to sit occasionally for 1-3 hours. 2. The ability to frequently stand for 3-6 hours.
3. The ability to occasionally drive/ operate foot control for 1-3 hours.
3. The ability to walk occasionally on level surface for 1-3 hours. 4. The ability to walk intermittently on unlevel surface for less than 1 hour. 5. The ability to intermittently bend or climb for less than 1 hour. 6. The ability to occasionally twist, kneel, crouch and crawl for 1-3 hours. 7. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently in less than 1 hour. 8. The ability to carry up to 50 pounds intermittently in less than 1 hour. 9. The ability to push up to 50 pounds intermittently in less than 1 hour. 10. The ability to pull up to 50 pounds intermittently in less than 1 hour.
