Physical Therapist Position Summary A modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lone Jack, MO is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist. This role is centered on practical, patient-focused care for individuals dealing with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. You will help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and function through evaluations, treatment planning, hands-on care, exercise-based therapy, education, and consistent progress tracking. The clinic has a collaborative team of 2 Physical Therapists and 2 PTAs, and documentation is completed in WebPT. New graduates are welcome, and salary is adjusted based on experience. Position Highlights Full-Time Physical Therapist position Competitive pay based on experience New grads encouraged to apply Supportive outpatient orthopedic team Modern clinic setting Professional growth and development available Broad patient age range from 11 to 90 Primary focus on orthopedic and musculoskeletal care Pay Details New Grad Physical Therapist: $65K–$70K annually Experienced PT: $80K–$90K annually, based on years of experience Schedule Preferences The clinic offers two schedule options and strongly prefers one of the following: Four 10-Hour Days Preferred Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Tuesday off each week Monday–Friday Option Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Clinic Information The clinic sees approximately 160–190 patient visits per week, with individual patient volume around 7–15 patients per day. Most patients are seen for orthopedic and musculoskeletal concerns, and the clinic accepts several major insurance plans, including BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna. Responsibilities Evaluate patients and identify physical limitations, movement concerns, strength deficits, pain levels, and functional goals Create individualized care plans for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility work, balance training, and functional movement support Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery expectations Track patient progress and update plans of care as needed Document evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge plans in WebPT Collaborate with PTAs and fellow Physical Therapists to support continuity of care Communicate clearly with patients and providers when appropriate Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure New graduates are welcome to apply Outpatient orthopedic experience is a plus, but not required Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills Comfortable treating patients across a wide age range Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance 401K plan with Company Match 3 weeks PTO 8 Paid US Holidays CEU Allowance Sign-On Bonus Available Move your PT career forward in a clinical setting where teamwork, patient care, and professional development are all part of the role.
