About this role
Position Summary:
* Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.
Minimum Education:
* Graduate of an RN Training Program * Completion of Basic EKG course
Preferred Education:
* Completion of a Critical Care course preferred.
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications:
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications:
* Minimum one year recent experience in an acute care setting preferred. * Two years experience in a critical care or telemetry setting preferred.
Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation:
* Current California RN license * BLS card (AHA) * ACLS certification (AHA) * Fire card * Assault Response Competency (ARC) required within 30 days of hire
