Myland Homecare LLC Full-Time | $28.00/hour starting pay | Start Date: October 1, 2026
Myland Homecare is seeking a dependable, organized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position combining field nursing, staff supervision, employee training, and clinical operations.
This is not a traditional bedside LPN position. The LPN will work both in the office and in the field and will play an important role in ensuring our clients receive quality care and our caregivers are properly trained, supervised, and supported.
What You'll Do
Complete assigned client assessments and follow-up visits
Conduct PCA and nursing supervisory visits
Complete employee field observations
Conduct new-hire interviews and assist with hiring
Lead new-hire orientation and onboarding
Perform employee skills check-offs and competency validations
Conduct staff trainings and in-services
Review and manage PCA/nursing task notes and documentation
Follow up with staff regarding missing or incomplete documentation
Provide coaching and corrective education when needed
Identify client, staff, or documentation concerns and report them to the RN/Administrator
Assist with quality improvement and compliance activities
Maintain accurate and timely clinical and employee documentation
Schedule
This position follows an alternating two-week schedule:
Week 1: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Saturday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Schedule repeats every two weeks.
What We're Looking For
Current Georgia LPN license in good standing
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Comfortable traveling to client homes
Comfortable supervising, training, and providing feedback to staff
Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
Home care, Medicaid waiver, pediatric, supervisory, or staff-training experience preferred
Experience with electronic documentation/EVV systems preferred
This is a full-time field and office-based position with regular travel to client homes throughout Myland Homecare's service area.
