About this role
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home care services to our clients in Howell, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. * Help with mobility and transferring clients safely. * Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed. * Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. * Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. * Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors. * Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
REQUIREMENTS
* Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a related healthcare role is an advantage. * Ability to assist with physical tasks and follow safety protocols. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor. * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
