At LIFE PACE we're looking for compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to join our HomeCare team. As a HomeCare Aide, you'll build meaningful relationships while providing essential support that allows older adults to maintain their independence and quality of life.
What You'll Do As a HomeCare Aide, you'll provide personalized, in-home assistance to seniors, including: Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, feeding, and mobility. Supporting clients with light housekeeping, including laundry, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and making beds. Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping and other errands. Encouraging clients to remain as independent and active as possible while providing support. Monitoring and documenting services provided, participant wellbeing, and any incidents or concerns. Maintaining a safe home environment and following proper lifting and body mechanics. Working collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members while providing exceptional customer service to clients and families. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who: Has a genuine passion for serving older adults. Is dependable, compassionate, and patient. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Enjoys building relationships and helping others maintain their independence. Works well independently and as part of a team. Qualifications Current Oklahoma Long-Term Care Aide and/or Home Health Aide certification required. Current, valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation required. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification upon hire. One year of CNA experience preferred. Physical Requirements This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, transferring clients, and performing physical tasks throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and safely assist with client mobility. Daily travel to client homes is required.
