About this role
The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to plan and deliver quality nursing care to assigned patients. The RN utilizes critical thinking to plan and select appropriate interventions for patient care that result in the desired patient outcomes. The RN directs and accepts the responsibility for immediate supervision of assistive personnel. The RN delegates care appropriately according to nursing practice standards. The RN participates in the orientation of new employees. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Nebraska.
EXPERIENCE: None required; some experience necessary for specific specialty areas.
CERTIFICATIONS: American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.
