Job Summary

Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Gentry Medical Clinic in Gentry, AR. CMA or RMA certification is required. The Medical Assistant assists in patient care under the direction of the clinicians and Clinic Nurses, assisting in providing excellent primary health care to our patients. Spanish language ability preferred. Experience in a clinic or hospital setting preferred. The schedule for this position is Monday Through Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

 

Key Responsibilities 

* Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompt service for patients. * Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol. * Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills. * Administers medications via injection  * Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency. * Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training. * Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.  

 

Required Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent required.   * Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant certification required. * 1+ year of medication administration experience required. * Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. * 1+ years of experience in a clinic setting preferred.
