Main Responsibilities:
* Maintains responsibility for all nursing care administered in conjunction with the Nurse Manager * Administers medications to residents * Gives direct care to residents, perform treatments as indicated * Assure that physicians orders are carried out and integrated into resident care plan * Documents information on residents records according to policy and procedure * Directs nursing assistants in the care of residents * Instructs associates in the use of specific techniques * May be required to work as Charge Nurse
Requirements:
* Valid NYS license as a LPN * 1 yr. experience in Long Term Care or acute care would be preferred * Experience with guiding nursing through the regulatory survey process * Excellent organizational skills * Able to work rotating weekends and holidays
Position Pay Range: $27.25-35.00/hour
Starting Pay: Based on experience
