Responsibilities - Perform PT evaluations and develop treatment plans for inpatient, outpatient, and SNF patients - Deliver gait training, transfers, and use assistive devices (e.g., Hoyer/lift) as appropriate - Provide wound care and lymphedema management; pelvic floor therapy and pediatric experience as potential areas of focus - Implement therapeutic modalities (e.g., e-stim, ultrasound, TENS) and prescribe home exercise programs - Communicate with a multidisciplinary team and document care in the electronic health record; provide patient and family education - Manage a diverse patient population across acute care, outpatient, and SNF settings; participate in weekend coverage as required

Requirements - Active Alaska PT license; no pending license submissions - BLS certification - Epic charting experience - Minimum 1 year of PT experience; first-timers accepted - References: 2 required (covering 1 year within last 3 years) - Locational requirement: permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted - Vaccination: Hepatitis B vaccination required (COVID-19 not required); facility will not accept titers or declination - Travel readiness: valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; vehicle provided for use with restrictions (around-town travel within a 30-mile radius) - Pre-start modules: average ~16 hours required prior to start (more than 20 hours requires approval)
