You will join a travel RN opportunity serving in the Endoscopy specialty in a hospital setting located in Petoskey, MI. The assignment is a 13-week travel temporary role with a 40-hour per week schedule and a daytime shift. The role requires an active Michigan RN license and BLS certification, with a focus on experienced endoscopy nursing support.

Responsibilities - Provide direct RN care for endoscopy patients, including pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure recovery - Assist the endoscopy team during procedures, maintain sterile technique, and operate related equipment as assigned - Monitor patient status, vital signs, and sedation effects; respond to changes in condition promptly - Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the patient record; communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team using SBAR - Educate patients and families on procedure preparation, process, and post-procedure care; provide discharge instructions - Participate in quality improvement and best-practice initiatives; support a team-based care model
Requirements - Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan - BLS (American Heart Association) certification - Minimum 2+ years of RN Endoscopy experience (REQUIRED) - Ability to work in a hospital setting and integrate with the endoscopy team - On-call/weekend coverage not required but available - Prior experience with peri-procedural care and post-anesthesia recovery is preferred
