Freedom Home Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one, in-home care for a client in the Northfield, MN area.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with no weekends.
SCHEDULE
Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM 30 hours per week
Pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a caregiver, you'll help your client remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own home. Responsibilities may include:
* Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting * Providing companionship and meaningful interaction * Assisting with mobility, transfers, and safety needs * Preparing light meals and assisting with feeding as needed * Light housekeeping and laundry * Providing medication reminders * Completing accurate care documentation * Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition * Following the client's individualized care plan
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, professional, and committed to providing quality care.
* Previous professional caregiving or healthcare experience required * CNA, assisted living, nursing home, group home, home care, or similar experience preferred * Valid driver's license * Reliable vehicle of your own * Current auto insurance * Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS Background Study * Dependable attendance and reliable transportation * Strong communication skills * Ability to commit to the Monday–Friday, 8 AM–2 PM schedule
