Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring an RN Clinical Manager for the Operating Room in Houston, Texas.
POSITION OVERVIEW • Operating Room RN leadership role overseeing daily perioperative operations, staffing, and department performance • Leadership opportunity within Magnet-recognized hospital environment focused on nursing excellence and quality patient outcomes • Oversight of diverse surgical case mix including robotics and newly developed neuro program • Collaborative interdisciplinary leadership role supporting physicians, nursing staff, and perioperative services • Houston metro location offering advanced healthcare infrastructure, career growth, and major medical system support

SCHEDULE • Dayshift leadership role • Hours vary based on departmental operational needs
ROLE • Manage daily operations of Operating Room department and perioperative workflows • Oversee staffing, scheduling, continuity of care, and departmental performance • Support recruitment, retention, development, and performance management of OR staff • Collaborate with physicians, leadership teams, and interdisciplinary departments to achieve organizational goals • Support process improvement, patient-centered outcomes, and quality initiatives • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Texas Board of Nursing requirements • Maintain safe patient care operations while adhering to departmental budgetary and operational standards • Provide direct patient care support and charge nurse coverage as operationally needed • Promote professional development, education, mentoring, and clinical competency growth among staff

BENEFITS • Medical insurance • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Life insurance • Retirement benefits • Paid time off • Professional development and certification support Requirements • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) REQUIRED • Current Texas RN license or compact license REQUIRED • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification REQUIRED • Minimum 3 years clinical Operating Room or related perioperative experience REQUIRED • Minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience REQUIRED • Strong leadership, staffing, and operational management skills REQUIRED • Experience within acute care surgical environment REQUIRED • Professional certification in clinical area or management preferred • Additional specialty certifications may be required based on department needs
