Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care for endoscopy and perioperative patients across the unit - Perform pre-procedure assessments and participate in sedation monitoring with the gastroenterology team - Assist with procedural setup, instrument handling, and post-procedure recovery care - Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and document care plans in the electronic health record - Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and discharge instructions - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team using SBAR and a patient-centered care model
Requirements - Active RN license in Michigan - BLS (AHA) certification - Minimum 2 years RN Endoscopy experience (required) - Ability to work in a fast-paced Level 3 Medical-Surgical unit with complex cases - Education: Not specified in the job notes; must have a current RN credential
