In this role, you will provide essential anesthesia care in a variety of surgical settings, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans Assess patients’ medical histories and conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care Stay updated on best practices and advances in anesthesia techniques
Requirements
Associate degree in Anesthesia or Nursing Current certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) or CRNA Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Experience in a variety of surgical procedures preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Level I Trauma Schedule: 7a-5p, 4 days per week No call or weekend shifts Patient Volume: 15 per day Case Types: Adult bread & butter 4:1 medical supervision EMR: Epic Board certification required Paid travel & expenses
