Responsibilities - Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room - Prepare the OR, maintain the sterile field, and assist with surgical cases as directed - Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; assist anesthesia team as needed - Adhere to sterile technique and infection control standards; ensure patient safety and comfort - Position and transport patients safely; communicate with the surgical team to anticipate needs - Complete accurate post-operative documentation and ensure efficient turnover between cases
Requirements - Active RN license in Montana - Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred - BLS, ACLS, and PALS required - Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred - Minimum of 3 years of critical access hospital OR experience preferred - Ability to work in a rotating schedule with on-call responsibilities
