As a Locum CRNA, you will play a critical role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures. Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and consultations Manage postoperative pain and monitor recovery Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Adhere to safety and quality protocols in anesthesia practice Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements
Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) Current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Experience in anesthesia practice as a CRNA Strong knowledge of anesthetic techniques and medications Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to maintaining patient safety and comfort
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Weeknight and weekend beeper call required
Case Mix: Orthopedic, general, endo, OB/GYN, pediatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, and plastics
Must be proficient in blocks, spinals, and epidurals
Daily Team Structure: 3 CRNAs, 2 MDs
60% medical supervision
EMR: Medaxion
