*This position will work 1900-0400am Monday-Friday with some variation depending on staffing patterns and leadership needs. He/she/they will also assume part of the Administrator-On-Call Rotation and coverage of staffing, when necessary, with other CCC Leadership. 

**Hours may be adjusted with appropriate approval (CCBHC Director of Integrated Health & Services) in order to accommodate trainings, leadership meetings, and facility needs.

Nurse Supervisor ensures day to day operations, under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager of the CrisisCare Center. Nurse Supervisor effectively and efficiently fosters a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Nurse Supervisor oversees the Respite Unit, Crisis Stabilization Unit and Medication Room while supporting staff to perform their duties safely, effectively and timely. Nurse Supervisor ensures continuous workflow processes leading to consumer engagement, rapid access and admission to services, consumer satisfaction and staff effectiveness. Family & Children's Services utilizes the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model of care. As a member of a multi-disciplinary care team, you will successfully support clients by providing whole person care with this transformative model. The Nurse Supervisor will demonstrate knowledge of co-occurring disorders and appropriate interventions. 

POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensure adequate nursing coverage and supervision on all shifts. * Provide direct nursing care on the unit as needed. * Ensure all services follow established protocols. * Monitor and improve workflow for safety and efficiency. * Maintain a daily presence to observe, assess, and adjust staff and client interactions. * Monitor environmental factors that may impact client care. * Notify program leadership of issues requiring higher-level management or security intervention. * Motivate staff for positive, and high-performance customer service. * Develop staff skills in stress management, communication, and interventions. * Identify and address potential personnel issues in collaboration with Nurse Manager. * Track and provide required nurse training (e.g., CPR, Restraint). * Collaborate with leadership to enforce policies and procedures. * Provide clinical consultation and crisis intervention. * Oversee the clinical nursing student program. * Serve as interim Nurse Manager when needed. * Act as Administrator on Call as scheduled. * Assist Nurse Manager with additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:

* Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Required * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

EXPERIENCE:

* 5+ years of active licensure as a Registered Nurse with actice working experience. * 1+ years of supervisory experience required, Charge Nurse experience applicable. * Expereince working with clients with mental illness and co-occuring disorders and/or substance abuse preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

* Understanding of mental illness and substance abuse disorders, clinical experience and leadership ability. * Comprehensive understanding of nursing best practices, patient care and healthcare facility management. * Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA) * Ability to effectively deliver staff training. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams. * Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality. * Effective conflict resolution and de-escelation skills. * Ability to assess and respond to emergency situations quickly and appropriately. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

* Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma * Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record to use agency and/or personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office. * Must posess current/active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate or completion of FCS -approved CPR and/or First-Aid Certification
