Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift Hours: Typically 40 hours per week | Outpatient Only, Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts No Weekends and No Holidays Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Contract Length: Up to 1 year with extension options Location: Warm Springs, Oregon

Position Overview The Outpatient Pharmacist will provide pharmaceutical services focused on medication safety, patient education, and collaborative outpatient care within the Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center.
What You’ll Do Dispense medications accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, dosing, and treatment plans Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes Monitor patient drug therapies and provide clinical recommendations as needed Maintain accurate documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety standards Support quality patient care in a collaborative outpatient healthcare setting What We Offer Competitive compensation Consistent weekday outpatient schedule Long-term contract stability with extension potential Opportunity to serve a rural and underserved population Professional autonomy within a supportive healthcare team Open to local and travel candidates Additional Details Outpatient setting only Monday–Friday schedule in most cases No inpatient responsibilities Credentialing and federal clearance process may take up to 90 days Additional Duties Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory Previous outpatient or ambulatory pharmacy experience preferred Minimum 1–2 years of pharmacist experience (outpatient or hospital preferred) Current BLS certification (preferred) Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills Experience with EHR systems Must be a U.S. citizen Must be able to pass a federal security clearance Required immunizations must be up to date
