Are you passionate about patient care and ready to make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer? Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Lead Medical Assistant to join our oncology team!

 Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers:

What You’ll Do:

* Provide hands-on support across all Medical Assistant functions, including clinic coverage * Coordinate daily MA schedules and ensure balanced workload distribution * Monitor team performance and assist the Office Manager with training, onboarding, and workflow consistency * Lead quality assurance efforts, including competency checks and Standard of Care audits * Serve as the first point of contact for MA-related concerns from patients and staff * Oversee MA inboxes, voicemails, portal messages, and prescription lines to ensure timely follow-up * Support inventory management and office supply coordination * Promote a positive, team-oriented culture through mentorship and accountability

What We’re Looking For:

* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)- **Only candidates who currently hold a valid Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain w/in 90 days will be considered*** * 3+ years of MA experience in a fast-paced setting * Medical oncology experience preferred * Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills * Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable personality * EMR experience and computer proficiency a plus * Positive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset and a passion for oncology care
