Overview Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel) in Utica, NY. Travel assignment starting 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,253–$2,255 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Day shift on a 12-hour block schedule (12x3), typically 6:30 AM–7:00 PM. Setting: hospital intensive care unit. This position requires ICU experience and includes floating to other units as needed.

Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care to ICU patients, including neuro, medical, and post-surgical populations - Monitor critical conditions, interpret hemodynamics, and respond to deteriorations - Manage CRRT and Prismaflex therapies and coordinate related equipment - Support neuro ICU needs, including neuro checks, ICP monitoring, ventriculostomy care, and TTM as applicable - Assist with ventilator management, invasive lines, and complex procedures; participate in rounds and care planning - Document accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record; collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams - Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical protocols; anticipate patient and family needs
Requirements - Active New York RN license - Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) credentials; NIHSS preferred - NURSYS license verification with ACTIVE NY license and all active RN licenses - 2+ years of ICU experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU) - Travel experience required - EPIC EMR experience - 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN references - RTO (time off) must be included at time of submission - Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex - Driver’s license with address that matches demographics - Heart experience highly preferred
