We are a 144-bed Skilled Nursing Facility with rehabilitation services located in the heart of Santa Ana. We are currently looking for a Per-Diem RN who is excited to be a part of a culture that celebrates a supportive environment!
Shifts Available:
* PM Part-Time (1 Day - Sunday)
Pay Range:
* $43-55/hour Depending on Experience
About the Position:
As the RN, your primary responsibility is to oversee LVN’s and CNA’s in providing direct patient care based on each patient’s care plan to the highest quality.
* Manages area of responsibility with the goal of achieving and maintaining the highest quality of care possible.
* Reviews staffing patterns and the census of nursing units and reassigns personnel, when necessary, to ensure staffing meets resident needs and budgetary controls.
* Monitors the skills of new staff members and guides and observes staff that may need additional assistance with procedures.
* Supervise, direct, and evaluate assigned staff members, LVNs, and CNAs.
* Initiates investigations of accidents and unusual occurrences and makes the necessary written report to the DON.
* Keeps the DON informed about the status of residents, staff, and related matters.
* Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records, including nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
* Documents interventions, observations, and resident responses to treatment.
Qualifications:
* Active CA RN License in good standing
* Active CPR/BLS
* Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
