Caregiver – Non-Medical In-Home Care | Nala Care
Location: Omaha, Nebraska & Surrounding Areas Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Pay: Competitive hourly pay based on experience and availability
Nala Care is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to join our growing team!
Our caregivers provide non-medical in-home care that helps seniors and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist clients with activities of daily living
* Bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care
* Meal preparation and light housekeeping
* Mobility and transfer assistance
* Companionship and supervision
* Medication reminders
* Transportation and errands when assigned
* Follow individual client care plans
* Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients, families, and Nala Care staff
* Accurately document services provided
* Communicate scheduling and client-related information through AxisCare
REQUIREMENTS
* Must be dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time
* Must successfully complete all required background screenings
* Must provide or complete required First Aid, CPR, and Abuse & Neglect training before being placed on the schedule
* Reliable transportation is strongly preferred
* Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required for positions involving client transportation
* Ability to safely assist clients with personal care and mobility needs
* Professional, respectful, and compassionate attitude
* Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required for all positions
