RN- CLINICAL MANAGER (OR)
Location: Houston, TX 77074 Facility: Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital Salary Range: $42.00 – $64.00/ HR Schedule: Full-Time | Split/Evening Shift Shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM or 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, depending on need Department: Operating Room / Surgical Services
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager II – Operating Room RN to provide leadership and oversight for daily operations within the surgical services department. This role is responsible for managing staff, supporting quality patient care, ensuring adequate staffing, and collaborating with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage daily operations of the Operating Room department. * Forecast staffing needs and ensure adequate scheduling and coverage. * Supervise, mentor, and develop departmental staff. * Collaborate with physicians, leadership, business partners, and interdisciplinary teams.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Active Texas RN license or active compact/multistate RN license with no stipulations or disciplinary actions. * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. * Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room acute care experience. * Minimum of 3 years of current OR management experience, such as Supervisor, Assistant Clinical Manager, Clinical Manager, or Director. * Must have accurate and updated resume with correct job history dates and units worked. * Must be able to work full-time evening/night shift as required.
