Radiology Technologist, Full-time Compensation * $32/hr. – $45/hr. starting range * $3/hr. night shift differential * $4/hr. weekend differential * $15,000 in bonus for experienced Radiology Technologist with a 2-year commitment.

Position Summary Radiology Technologists perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X‑ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and intraoperative imaging. They ensure patient safety by following established imaging protocols and radiation‑safety standards. As the first point of contact for patients undergoing imaging, they play a key role in creating a positive experience through clear communication, professionalism, and compassionate care. Responsibilities Professional Standards * Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the dress code. * Attend all mandatory education and in-service programs. * Support departmental time management by being punctual and prepared for assignments. * Comply with all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
Administrative & Recordkeeping * Maintain accurate and timely medical imaging records * File and distribute Radiology reports when office personnel are unavailable. * Perform office duties as needed in the absence of office staff.
Technical Operations * Verify patient identity and review requisitions for accuracy and consistency with clinical diagnosis. * Document all required information on radiologic requisitions, including technologist name, date, and exam details. * Assess patient condition and ensure safety through proper use of support or restraint devices. * Review each exam for technical accuracy and communicate relevant information to the care team. * Ensure proper anatomical orientation and film identification on all images. * Accurately document patient information in the computer system and complete all required exam charges. * Prioritize patient care by addressing critical needs first and following physician orders. * Participate in training and orientation of new employees. * Maintain patient safety, comfort, and care by following all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements * Graduation from an accredited or approved school of radiology * Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) * Valid Illinois Radiology license * CPR/AED and CT certifications welcomed but not required
Physical Demands * Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and move between tasks * Ability to hear and communicate clearly in person and by phone * Ability to perform fine motor tasks such as computer work, writing, or phone use * Ability to twist, bend, stoop, crouch, climb, or balance * Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally * Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs
