Position Overview Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled and certified CT Technologist to join a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This role offers a competitive hourly wage. Key Responsibilities Operate CT scanning equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Position patients correctly and administer contrast media as required by the scan protocol. Monitor patients during procedures and maintain strict radiation safety standards. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure image quality meets diagnostic needs. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs within the EMR system. Qualifications Education: Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field. Licensure/Certification: Valid certification as a CT Technologist (e.g., ARRT(R)(CT)). Experience: Previous experience in diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine is preferred. Knowledge of urgent care protocols is a plus. Technical Skills: Excellent technical skills in operating CT equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare staff.
