Description Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–6:00 PM | 1 weekday off | 4 10-hour shifts per week | Rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM–3:00 PM Compensation: DOE. Full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement options.
Grand Peaks is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Idaho Falls Clinic Pharmacy. This role supports patient care by preparing and dispensing medications, assisting patients and healthcare professionals, providing excellent customer service, and helping maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory. We’re looking for someone who stays organized, communicates well, and follows through on daily responsibilities while working as part of a team. Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required.
Job Duties: Prepare and dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications as ordered by providers, under pharmacy supervision. Respond to medication refill requests and assist patients and healthcare professionals with pharmacy needs. Enter prescription and inventory data, maintain stock, and assist with inventory counts. Follow medication safety, disposal, sharps handling, and pharmacy compliance procedures. Perform other duties as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. At least six months of retail or hospital pharmacy experience. Strong organizational, computer, and time-management skills. Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
