Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room (ER) for a high-acuity travel assignment in Lubbock, Texas.
This role supports a fast-paced emergency department in a Level II Trauma Center, treating a wide range of patient conditions including trauma, stroke, STEMI, respiratory distress, and general emergency presentations. The ideal candidate is confident in high-acuity environments and experienced with rapid patient assessment and intervention.
Compensation: 36 Hours: Gross $2,029/week | W2 $21.75/hr | Stipend $1,246/week
Schedule: • Night shift, 3x12 • Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 13-week assignment • Self-scheduling available • 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule block
Unit Details: • Emergency Department (ER) • Level II Trauma Center • Stroke Certified Facility • Patient ratio: 1:3 • Daily census approximately 136 patients • 42 treatment rooms / 46 beds • EMR: Epic • Supports adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations
Responsibilities: • Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity ER setting • Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and intervention • Manage ventilated patients and respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP) • Administer IV therapies including vasopressors • Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including respiratory, pharmacy, and radiology • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Requirements Job Requirements: • Active RN license (Compact or TX) required at submission • Minimum 2 years of ER experience required (hard stop) • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required • Epic charting experience required • Community hospital experience required • Strong triage, respiratory, and emergency response skills required • Travel experience preferred but not required with 2+ years ER experience Join our VIP list to get first access to top travel roles: Click here to join Not ready to apply?
