RESPITE CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (RN) – SAINT JOE’S
Schedule: 40 hours/week + on-call
ABOUT THE ROLE
Saint Joe’s is seeking a compassionate and experienced Respite Clinical Supervisor (RN) to support daily operations of our Respite Program. In partnership with the Assistant Director of Nursing, this role ensures high-quality, compliant care for individuals with developmental and complex medical needs while leading and mentoring staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee respite operations, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance * Supervise and support clinical and DSP staff; assist with scheduling and coverage * Coordinate admissions/discharges and communicate with internal departments * Provide training, coaching, and ongoing staff development * Monitor documentation, complete progress notes, and report incidents * Deliver direct nursing care as needed (medications, treatments, tube feedings, personal care) * Support delegated nursing in ICF and community respite programs * Participate in on-call rotation
QUALIFICATIONS
* Active RN license (Ohio) required * 2+ years’ experience with individuals with complex medical needs (pediatric experience preferred) * Supervisory and employee relations experience * Knowledge of ODH, ODODD, and ODJFS regulations preferred * Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Valid driver’s license
