Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.
Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability.
About the Job
As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:
* Assistance with Activities of Daily Living. * Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene. * Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc. * Meal planning, cooking and baking. * Conversation and companionship. * Interactive Caregiving. * Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment. * Assistance with medication. * Dementia or Alzheimer’s care. * Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed. * Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.
Comfort Keepers Requirements
* Experience in a caregiving role. * Must be available every other weekend and holiday. * 21 years of age. * High School Diploma or GED. * Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience. * Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving. * DHS and driving record background clearance. * Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.
