Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Employment Type: Full Time(2 days/16 hrs)--Clinician can choose which days Location: School Site in York, PA Pay Rate: $70-$80 an hour or a W-2 with PTO/Sick Time and part time employee benefits Role Summary The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and care coordination for child, adolescent, and/or adult clients (based on experience and credentialing). Care is delivered in accordance with New Jersey regulations, InSite clinical protocols, and collaborative practice agreements. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, therapists, care coordination, medical reception, and leadership) to ensure timely access, evidence-based treatment, and exceptional outcomes. Essential Responsibilities Clinical Care Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits (in-person and telehealth, as clinically appropriate; Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications within scope; provide medication monitoring, psychoeducation, and safety planning. Review external physicals, labs, and screenings obtained off-site to ensure medical needs are integrated into treatment planning. Provide timely refills within policy; escalate high-acuity cases and coordinate higher levels of care when indicated. Documentation & Compliance Complete accurate, clinically appropriate documentation in the EHR within required timelines. Maintain problem lists, med lists, allergies, CQM items, and measurement-based care instruments. Follow PA APN collaborative protocols and federal/state prescribing laws (CDS/DEA); comply with HIPAA/FERPA in school settings. Teamwork & Communication Participate in case consultation, multidisciplinary huddles, and care coordination with internal and external partners Support reasonable administrative responsibilities (e.g., forms, prior auth input, brief chart reviews). Quality & Outcomes Practice culturally responsive, trauma-informed care; incorporate clinical guidelines and decision support. Meet or exceed productivity and quality metrics. Tech: EHR proficiency (Avon experience a plus), basic Office/Workspace tools (Docs/Sheets/Slides), secure email/telehealth workflows. Compliance & Standards Abide by InSite Health code of ethics, policies & procedures, and all local/state/federal regulations. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA (and FERPA where applicable in schools). Participate in required trainings, supervision/consultation, and competency assessments.
