Marshalltown UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown just opened a new hospital in Marshall County in April 2022, offering the latest technology and state-of-the-art medical facility. In addition, it has primary care clinics located in Marshalltown, Conrad, State Center and Tama-Toledo and an Express Clinic in Marshalltown. General Established team of Advanced Practitioners with great Physician support Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community PRN position with flexible scheduling Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination Responsibilities Telehospitalist service overnight No night shifts 12 hour shifts: 7a-7p Rounding on an average of 15 patients per shift Double coverage PRN coverage of PTO and sick call Qualifications Nurse Practitioner with inpatient medicine experience Board Certified Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice Eligible to work in the United States Community Details Located in the center of Iowa, Marshalltown offers a convenient and central location.
